UAE WRESTLING FEDERATION SCHOOL’S LEAGUE 2025-2026

The Round 3 of the UAE School Wrestling League was held on 14th February at Emirates National School, Sharjah, witnessing enthusiastic participation from schools across the region.

The Junior Group of Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIS) delivered an excellent performance and successfully secured a place among the Top 3 overall rankings, highlighting their dedication and strong team effort.

The Senior Group also performed commendably and achieved the 7th overall rank, reflecting steady progress and competitive spirit.

bringing great pride to Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIS).

Aysha Hamda clinched the Individual Championship Trophy, showcasing outstanding all-round excellence.
•  The Junior Category Team secured the Divisional Championship Trophy with a dominant performance.

Overall, ADIS proudly lifted the Runners-Up Trophy among all participating schools.

OPEN INTERSCHOOL ATHLETIC COMPETITION

The Blue Star Inter UAE Sports Festival 2025 was conducted in commemoration of the UAE National Day. The event took place on 1st December 2025 at Al Ain University Stadium, near NMC Hospital. This was the 28th edition of the popular Family Sports Festival and was open to all Indian nationals residing in the UAE.

ADEK CUP ATHLETIC MEET

The girls of Abu Dhabi Indian School delivered an outstanding performance in the First Round of the prestigious Abu Dhabi Sports Championship for Schools & Universities, a mega sporting event that witnessed participation from more than 200 schools across the Emirate.

The championship, which brings together student athletes to compete in 14 different sports disciplines, provided a highly competitive platform for young talents. Demonstrating remarkable determination, discipline, and sportsmanship, 45 girls from Abu Dhabi Indian School participated in the athletic meet.

Students from our school enthusiastically participated in the “Run for a Cause – Reem Mall Pink Run” held on Saturday, 4th October 2025, in support of Breast Cancer Awareness. UAE Wrestling Federation School’s League Competition 2025-2026

Abu Dhabi Indian School proudly participated in the UAE Wrestling Federation School’s League Competition 2025-2026, showcasing commendable performance in the league’s first round. A total of 10 students represented the school across Junior (Grades 5–8) and Senior (Grades 9–12) categories.

Both teams displayed strong skill and sportsmanship. In an impressive achievement, two junior boys and two senior boys won their respective bouts, marking a successful start to the tournament.

ADEK HACKATHON 2025

Our team – Norah Susan, Fritzie Andrew, Megan Ann, Kimberly Fernandes, and Nandini Pandya with the Team Mentor Mrs. Priya S Balachandran proudly participated in the ADEK Hackathon on the 17th of November 2025, where we showcased our innovative project addressing energy awareness and sustainability. During the event, we had the privilege of presenting our solution to representatives from the Department of Energy, Abu Dhabi, and ADEK, who highly appreciated the clarity, creativity, and real-world relevance of our work.

The team was declared winners of the Hackathon, a recognition that reflects the dedication, teamwork, and strong problem-solving skills demonstrated throughout the competition. Additionally, the students were commended for their outstanding outreach programme, through which they engaged peers and promoted the “Drop the Watt” initiative with enthusiasm and responsibility.

Our efforts were further acknowledged through the Outstanding Mentorship Award for empowering future pioneers and Achievement Award to the students for their exceptional contribution and impact as future pioneers.

ABU DHABI WORLD JIU-JITSU 2025

Our student, Mohammed Nahyan Parayamparambil Najibudeen, from Grade 3, who has made us extremely proud with his outstanding performance at the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Festival.

ENGLISH LITERARY COMPETITION 2025

The Al Ain Inter-School English Literary Competition 2025 was held on 30th October 2025 at Al Ain Indian School. The event brought together participants from various schools across the region to celebrate the beauty of the English language through poem recitation and elocution contests.
From the ADIS Primary Girls Section (Grades III–V), talented students Nuha Ansari (Grade 5B) and Emma Mohammed (Grade 5B) proudly represented the school under the guidance of Mrs. Rahiyamol Hamza. Emirates Future International Academy, Mussafah, Abu Dhabi hosted the Inter-School Visual Art Competition 2025 on 18th October 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The event brought together talented young artists from various schools to celebrate creativity under the theme “UAE Heritage and Culture.”

A total of 16 students from Grades III, IV, and V represented the Primary Girls – Junior Category under the guidance of Mr. Sakthivel Perumall (Senior Boys Section). Participants showcased paintings, drawings, and mixed-media artworks reflecting Emirati values, sustainability, and innovation.

CBSE CLUSTER KABBADI TOURNAMENT 2025-2026

The Girls Kabaddi Team of our school participated for the first time in the CBSE Cluster Kabaddi Tournament and made a remarkable achievement by securing the 3rd place. The team displayed excellent skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the competition.

 The championship, held under the prestigious banner of the (CBSE), and Shining star international school Abu Dhabi Held on 22, June 2025. And brought together top-performing teams from across the region. Our girls rose to the occasion with exceptional teamwork, strategy, and relentless spirit, defeating some of the toughest opponents to claim the coveted title.

 Despite being new to the tournament, the players showed great spirit, discipline, and confidence on the mat. Their consistent effort and dedication during the coaching sessions were clearly reflected in their performance. This achievement has inspired many other students to take interest in Kabaddi and motivated the team to aim for even higher success in future competitions.

CBSE CLUSTER SWIMMING CHAMPIONSHIP

The CBSE UAE Swimming Cluster for girls was held on 17th and 18th of June 2025 and organized by Bright Riders School, Abu Dhabi. The event was a wonderful platform for young swimmers to showcase their talent and sportsmanship.

Our school team consisted of 19 girls who took part in the event.  An important achievement this year was the significant improvement in our swimmer’s timings in their events. CBSE UAE CLUSTER TAEKWONDO TOURNAMENT  2025-2026

 

The CBSE UAE Cluster Taekwondo Tournament 2025-2026 was successfully conducted on 30th May (Girls) at GEMS New Millennium School, Dubai. The tournament showcased strength, discipline, and determination as young athletes from across the UAE competed with great energy and sportsmanship.

 With a remarkable performance, our student Alesha Shaji Krishnan of 9A secured a silver medal in the 50–55 kg (U-17 Girls) weight category and qualified for the Nationals.

The CBSE UAE Cluster Tournament was held on 29th May 2025 – Thursday at Gems New Millenium School – Al Khail, in a Knockout format. The ADIS team, trained under the guidance of Oryx Taekwondo Sports Club, delivered a stellar performance, winning a total of 12 medals – 3 Gold, 3 Silver, and 6 Bronze across different categories.
The highlight of the tournament was the U-19 Boys Category, where ADIS proudly clinched the Overall Championship, marking a remarkable achievement for the school.

CBSE NATIONAL ATHLETICS MEET 2025-2026

 

The CBSE National Athletics Meet 2025 was held in Varanasi from September 10 th to 13th, 2025, organized by Sant Atulanand School, Varanasi. A total of 3400 athletes from 1200 schools participated in the meet. From Abu Dhabi Indian school 11 girls and 3 boys represented the Gulf Region in this prestigious event.
In the Under-14 Girls category, the relay team secured the 4th position, showcasing their determination and sporting spirit. Additionally, Gauri Umrao achieved an impressive 5th position in high jump in the same category.

WRO OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP – EUROPE

GUINNESS WORLD RECORD:

Sanju George Oommen and Vysakh Jayagopal, both of them from Grade 12 have set a Guiness World Record in Video game racing. “The fastest lap of Laguna Seca by a team of 2 in Gran TUrismo 5”. This feat was achieved at Virgin Megastore, Yas Mall. The record involves a team of 2 members sharing two controls. Sanju had the accelerator and brakes while Vysakh had the steering controls. They beat the previous record of 1min 38 seconds by the renowned UK You Tubers Callux and KSI by 10.51 seconds. Their current record is 1min 28.51seconds.

They will have their names enrolled in the next edition of the Guiness World book to be published in 2017.

In the Rangoli Gulf  Season 5,  78 schools across UAE participated in the event. Abu Dhabi Indian School secured the over all First position among the 12 Finalist schools and also declared as the Winner of the Rangoli Gulf Season 5.

ADIS also won the prize for the Best Music Team. Abhijit Anil Kumar was the best male singer and Aditya Mani was the Master Star of Rangoli.

The Prizes were announced and distributed on the Grand Finale function held at the Gems Modern Academy, Dubai on Friday, 13 May 2016 by the legendary music composer and singer of Bollywood Shri. Bappi Lahari.

Our children brought laurels to the school by participating and winning in various competitions such as Abu Dhabi Leadership Speech competition, Inter-Shool Quiz Competitions conducted by various schools.

OPEN ATHLETIC MEET 2016

In Open Athletic Meet 2016 was held on 18-11-2016 at ISC Abu Dhabi, our school won Individual championship in all categories and also overall championship trophy.
