Investiture Ceremony

Dear Parent,
The United Nations has declared June 21st as the International Day of Yoga in recognition of Yoga’s holistic approach to promoting both mental and physical health and wellbeing.
India’s diplomatic missions around the world have taken the lead in organizing special activities around the International Day of Yoga to create awareness about the proven benefits of this ancient discipline in meeting the stresses and strains of modern living.
Our Embassy in Abu Dhabi will be organizing the 4th International Day of Yoga at Umm Al Emarat Park on June 21st from 6.30 PM. We will begin with demonstrations by several different schools of Yoga. The official programme will begin at 8.00 PM with the arrival of H.E. Sheikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister for Tolerance. This will be followed by practice of the Common Yoga Protocol for a duration of about 35 minutes.
We look forward to the participation of you, your family and friends and students on the 4th International Day of Yoga on 21st June.
